The Thomistic Institute exists to promote Catholic truth in our contemporary world by strengthening the intellectual formation of Christians at universities, in the Church, and in the wider public square. The Thomistic Institute Podcast features the lectures and talks from our conferences, campus chapters events, intellectual retreats, livestream events and more.
St. Thomas Aquinas, one of the greatest philosophers and theologians of the Western tradition, stands at the heart of what we do. On our podcast, you will find talks from top-notch scholars from around the world with many different (and non-Thomistic) perspectives, but Aquinas’s thought remains a touchstone of the Institute.
We work to bring together prominent professors to examine contemporary questions from the perspective of classical Catholic theology, and to encourage the renewal of theology and philosophy in the Thomistic tradition. The Thomistic Institute Podcast is distinctive not only because of its academic quality, but also because, as befits the Dominican tradition, the serious study of theology and philosophy is integrated with the contemplation of the mysteries of the faith.
