Thomistic Institute’s Aquinas 101 Project Launches Exciting New Learning Platform in Time for the Holidays

[Washington D.C.] - The Thomistic Institute is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of its new online learning platform for Aquinas 101 in time for the holidays.

Aquinas 101 was created to bring the wisdom of St. Thomas Aquinas to a modern audience through short, engaging videos. While the profound works of St. Thomas may appear intimidating, Aquinas 101 simplifies the learning process, making it both enjoyable and accessible.

Guided by Dominican friars, Aquinas 101 takes viewers on a journey through Aquinas' works, delving into crucial questions about the nature of humanity, God, happiness, and the relevance of Jesus Christ in our contemporary world.

Each Aquinas 101 video, delivered in just a few minutes, explores a different theme, requiring no prior preparation. Supplemental readings and podcast lectures, curated by Dominican friars, complement each video.

The Aquinas 101 YouTube channel has clearly addressed a previously unmet demand, accumulating 100,000 subscribers and racking up over 8 million views since its creation in 2019.

Now, Aquinas 101 is ready to unveil its new digital home. The soon-to-be-launched platform will allow users to create personalized accounts, seamlessly picking up where they left off in the previous session and earning certificates of achievement as they automatically track their progress.

Those who wish to explore further will be able to search the extensive video library and submit questions directly to the friars.

Moreover, a side-by-side Latin-English translation was added to the current digital Summa Theologiae, which the Aquinas 101 team redesigned to be more intuitive and interactive.

The Thomistic Institute is delighted to assure Aquinas 101 users that the new learning platform will remain entirely free, reaffirming our commitment to making St. Thomas Aquinas' wisdom accessible to all.

The Thomistic Institute invites everyone, regardless of their background or familiarity with Aquinas' teachings, to join this exciting digital venture. With the launch of our new website before the holidays, the wisdom of St. Thomas Aquinas will be more accessible and enriching than ever before.
