Faith, Reason, & the Mind’s Ascent to God | Fourth Annual Student Leadership Conference

Faith, Reason, & the Mind’s Ascent to God

Aquinas offers a robust account of faith and reason, and the way that human beings can come to real knowledge of the divine. Understanding these truths is central not only to the Catholic faith, but to all knowledge of reality because God is the transcendent cause of all being, the source of intelligibility, and truth itself.

This conference will gather students who will be Campus Chapter leaders in the 2022-2023 academic year, for a time of formation in philosophy, theology, and the practical aspects of running a Thomistic Institute Chapter. There will be ample time for learning more about Aquinas on faith, reason, and the spiritual life, as well as time for prayer, sacraments, meals, socializing, and outings in Washington, D.C.
