St. Thomas on Acedia - A Summa Reading Group

Join Sr. Anna Wray, O.P. (The Catholic University of America) and other students to discuss St. Thomas Aquinas’ writings on acedia. The group will meet on Tuesdays between Oct. 25 and Nov. 15 to discuss short readings on the reading group’s theme.

Description: A communal reading and discussion of the Summa Theologiae II-II.35, against the background of St. Thomas' accounts of the passions and sin.

To be eligible, applicants must be current university students at the undergraduate or graduate level. Young professional applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Who can apply? Current undergraduate and graduate university students. Young professionals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Space is limited. These reading groups are intentionally small. If you are admitted, please be diligent in attending. Additionally, if you are not admitted to this group, we encourage you to apply to other groups later in the semester.
